We’ve been closed for almost two months already, and only now we finally sit down to say this properly — thank you.

We really just want to thank everyone who supported us along the way. Our cafe is just the frame… without you all, there wouldn’t be a complete picture. So many of you walked this journey with us, and we carry all those memories quietly.

Both Esther and I are quite introverted people, paiseh to go around asking everyone for photos — even though honestly, we wish we documented more moments with you guys. The thought was always there, just not the courage 😅

We’re still not sure when or if we’ll reopen. But wherever life takes us next, we genuinely hope all of you are doing well and staying happy.

Thank you again. Really. Knowing you all has been a blessing.

It all began as an EMPTY ROOM….

Day by day, corner by corner, we turned it into a café that truly felt like us.

A place built with care, patience, and so much love.

Tomorrow is our last day.

From day one, everything was built little by little — designed from scratch with our own hands.
What used to be a tattoo studio slowly transformed into a space where we hoped to share the joy of caffeine with you.

People often ask, “Is this Taiwanese style? Japanese style?”
But honestly, it doesn’t matter what style you call it —
it’s a place where you and I crossed paths,
and that makes it our own kind of style.

A Little Pause

Since February 1, 2025, EG COFFEE has quietly grown alongside all of you —
from our very first customer who waited outside before sunrise,
to every warm greeting, every cup shared, and every story exchanged.

These moments have become the heart of our little café.

Thank you for walking this journey with us — whether you visited once, came back often, supported us online, or became friends along the way.
Because of you, this small corner at Alexandra never felt small at all.

As life brings new commitments and directions, we’ve come to realise that we can no longer give the café the time and attention it truly deserves.
And so, with gratitude and a little heaviness, we will be wrapping up this chapter soon.

This chapter will quietly reach its last page on December 21, 2025,
sending our Christmas wishes a little earlier this year.

Though this chapter is coming to a gentle close,
we hope that somewhere in the future, when you see a cup that looks a little like ours,
you’ll remember the warmth we once shared.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
EG COFFEE will always carry a piece of you.

自 2025 年 2 月 1 日起，EG COFFEE 一直在這個小小的角落，
陪著大家度過許多平凡卻溫暖的日子。
我們記得清晨的第一位客人，也記得每一杯咖啡、每一句問候，
都讓這間店有了故事、有了溫度。

謝謝每一位曾走進來、路過、支持、喜歡、甚至成為朋友的你們。
因為有你們，這段旅程變得格外美好。

隨著生活的方向與節奏慢慢改變，我們逐漸意識到，
已無法再用最完整的心力，為這間店提供它應得的專注與品質。
於是，我們決定讓這個篇章在溫柔中緩緩落幕。

這段旅程將於 2025 年 12 月 21 日，悄悄翻到最後一頁，
也意味著我們會提前把聖誕祝福送給大家。

雖然有捨不得，但旅程總會有停靠的時候。
也希望未來的某一天，當你在某個角落看到熟悉的咖啡杯，
會想起這裡曾帶給你的溫暖。

謝謝你們，真的謝謝。
