Paid partnership with Oatly

What happens when coconut meets Sichuan and chili heat? Something we had to find out and so did our guests.
 Oatly asked us to join them in creating the Oatly Chili Challenge, together with The Pepper Quest. A dinner experience where every course turns up the heat and their Lychee Oolong Coconut drink, made with Oatly’s new iKaffe Coconut Flavour, is your cool, creamy reset between bites.

We created a coconut foam for our Pepper Quest Lemonade — a creamy, cooling layer that turned out to be the perfect match for our Batak pepper.

As spice specialists, we brought our single origin expertise to the table, because great heat isn’t just about intensity. It’s about flavour, discovery and knowing exactly how far to push it.

The challenge is on at Surfers until October 31st.
