Just a little update for our Aama Himalayan family 🤍
From the Eastern Himalayas, in our continued quiet Aama pursuit…
This may feel a little out of context, but every step of this journey is shaping us in ways we didn’t expect. We are not just travelling through the hills, we are learning from them.
The ethos. The innocence. And most beautifully, the quiet, effortless humour of the mountains and its people 😅
The roads here are narrow, winding, and often challenging, but the drivers? They move with a spirit that is both fearless and deeply respectful. The way they navigate, giving way, trusting each other, honouring the terrain. It’s patience. It’s understanding. It’s something you feel more than you can explain. Quite like how we experience here in Sweden.
And then, a little moment of humour…😅
On one of our recent journeys uphill, we suddenly found ourselves stuck behind a trail of cars. Our driver, driven by curiosity (and perhaps a bit of mountain instinct), stepped away🚶 leaving us in a mix of anxiety and wonder. For a moment, time slowed. But just as quietly as he left, he returned… and we continued, safely reaching our destination.
It’s moments like these that stay with you.
There is a certain zeal the hills carry, an unspoken energy, a way of being, slowly, it becomes a part of you. More soon… ❤️ Thank you for being a part of this journey 💕
