Honoured and deeply grateful.

Arctic Bath has been recognised by Falstaff Hotel Guide Nordics 2026 with the award Engagement for Sustainability & Innovation and ranked as one of Sweden’s highest-rated hotels with 98/100 points.

For a relatively young hotel in Swedish Lapland, this kind of international recognition means a great deal to us. Above all, we see it as a reflection of our incredible team, our partners, and all the guests who continue to travel far north to experience something different.

Together with our MICHELIN Key distinction and inclusion in the Falstaff Restaurant Guide, this feels like part of a growing international interest in Northern Sweden, nature-connected experiences, and a slower way of travelling.

We are deeply honoured to be recognised by Falstaff The Nordics Hotel Guide 2026 with the award ’Engagement for Sustainability & Innovation’ 🏆

This recognition is truly meaningful to us, as it celebrates our passion for creating something truly unique in the Arctic — where architecture, nature, wellbeing, and sustainability come together in harmony.

The jury motivation reads:

“Floating on the Lule River, Arctic Bath is one of the most innovative hospitality concepts in Scandinavia, combining architecture, nature and sustainability in a truly unique way. A Renewed Spa Experience.

We have recently refined the SPA experience at Arctic Bath.
Developed in close collaboration with our therapists, and using natural products from c/o Gerd, the updated menu brings together treatments designed to support rest, presence, and recovery — always with a close connection to place and the surrounding nature.

It now includes five signature treatments by Arctic Bath, alongside selected therapies by local practitioners, as well as our guided sauna rituals and Elements of Us, a two-hour experience created for two.

Just nu söker vi en Souschef till vårt kök.

I vårt kök vid Luleälv sker det mesta i det tysta.
Här formas rätter i takt med årstid, råvara och plats, där hantverket får ta tid och precisionen alltid är närvarande.

Och vår köksmästare Davit Staaf blev nyligen tilldelad det prestigefyllda Chef Award vid 2026 Culinary Hotel Awards. Destinationen Arctic Bath har även nyligen tilldelats en MICHELIN Key. Men för oss handlar det inte om utmärkelser i sig, utan om människorna bakom dem. Och om hotellet och restaurangen som plats för precision, arbetsglädje och hantverk.

Vi söker nu en Souschef som vill arbeta nära det här sammanhanget.

Happy New Year from all of us at Arctic Bath!

We thank all our guests who shared moments with us throughout 2025, and we look forward to welcoming those who will join us in 2026. We are excited to see what the new year will bring, hopefully many guests who share our love for nature, the Arctic, and the changing seasons.

This New Year will be the first in which we welcome visitors throughout the autumn, allowing Arctic Bath to be experienced in all its different forms and to embrace the seasons in all their beauty.

Tonight, we hope to celebrate under nature’s own display, the Northern Lights dancing above in serene silence.
