Seven years ago, I signed my name on a piece of paper, held a set of keys in my hand, and moved my little baking kitchen into the very heart of Gothenburg.
Thousands of cakes, tens of thousands of cupcakes, and hundreds of families celebrated later… I’m still completely in love with the unconventional path I chose when I changed my career.

My business started before these four walls, but this place has truly become its heart and home. Thank you for letting me be a small, sweet part of your biggest moments for the last 7 years (and longer). Here’s to many more! 🥂

Cupcakes are such a cool alternative to cakes at a party. They’re mess free, no cutting, can be customized to match your theme, can be made in multiple flavors, more economical than cake and they look really cute!
Last week I ended up making a lot of cupcakes for custom orders each in a different theme and different flavor / dietary options.

What do you prefer for your party? Cake or cupcakes?

Happy Saturday everyone!
Mine was a happy one too surrounded by cakes almost all day! Chasing deadlines, prioritizing the cakes as per pickup times and reminding myself to breathe and drink some water in between 😂 My lunchbox didn’t stand a chance till past 3 😬
But a sincere thank you to everyone choosing to order your cakes with me. 💕💕💕

Some lily cupcakes.
Piped lilies for the first time and gosh it’s not easy! Actually piped them directly on the cupcakes and the leftovers were piped on a sheet and chilled. So if you want a cake decorated with these lilies now’s your chance to ask for it ;)

One of the worst cake-nightmares for a baker?? That they’ve dropped a cake. It actually happened to me earlier this week where I dropped not one but TWO cakes 🙈🙈🙈
I finished decorating them- one for an order and one extra, filmed them and posted instantly to my stories (which I rarely do) and within the next minute while moving them back to the fridge, off they slipped out of my hands one after the other…. And fell to the ground with a thud (or may be two?? and of course me screaming in shock 😫😫)
Luckily they were just bento cakes and were in their respective boxes when it happened so the mess on the floor was minimal. But they were beyond repair given the impact. And the customer was to pick one of them up soon. I was in a shock and panic.
Fortunately for me there was a spare one sitting in the fridge that I had not yet decorated. Quickly mixed up more icing and finished it up. When the customer messaged she’s going to be a bit late I truly thanked my stars 🤩🙏🏼
Some days…. are a pure chaos. But so thankful that I had made an extra. ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼

A wedding cake from the first week of August was quite special for a number of reasons. One it was completely vegan and was accompanied by a large number of cupcakes in matching colors.
But the other thing that made it special was it was inspired by a very similar cake I had made for another wedding exactly a year ago!
When I showed the couple a few of my previous wedding cake pictures they instantly fell in love with this one and wanted me to create a similar one - in size, in color palette, in floral arrangements- only difference being vegan.
So I happily made it but of course not an exact replica. They loved it just as the couple from last year :)
