Fatboys is located just next to Gizo Western Province Solomon Islands! A 10 minute boat ride from the airport and 15 minutes from Gizo Township. We have 5 bungalows that offer you with spectacular views of a early morning sunrise watched straight from your own bungalow! So if you're hungry and looking for a place to eat, why not come and get a taste of our very own island seafood dishes that will make crave for more! And if its a hot day why not stop over for a chilled beer. Our restaurant and bar is located right on the sea front which gives you wonderful and amazing views of the island lifestyle and the crystal-clear waters! The name ‘Fatboys’ is derived from the character ‘Joe the Fatboy’ in the book “The Pickwick Papers” by Charles Dickens. Young Joe is a cheeky, lazy young man with an unsatiable appetite for food, sleep and doing as little work as possible. When you stay at Fatboys Resort, you’ll become like Joe- Drinking, Eating and Sleeping, all befitting a Fatboy.
