Some mornings linger long after the last plate is cleared in the music, the conversations, and the beauty of a place experienced together.
On October 11, the historic Small Hall of the Palace of Culture in Târgu Mureș became the setting for a Sunday morning shaped by art, architecture, music, and gastronomy.
Inspired by the room’s floral motifs, rich colours, and stained-glass windows, the Art Nouveau Brunch brought together a carefully curated four-course menu by 112 Coffee Roastery and Bottega Transilvana, celebrating the flavours of autumn.🍂 From beetroot tartare with goat cheese and caramelised walnuts to pumpkin soup with orange and cinnamon, Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, and a delicate mascarpone dessert with caramelised pumpkin, each course was conceived as part of a thoughtfully composed culinary experience. 🍽️
The atmosphere was complemented by a live piano performance by Ștefan Ormenișan, founder of . Adding another layer to the setting, MINDTHEGAP’s distinctive products were thoughtfully integrated into the decor, bringing their signature design sensibility into dialogue with the Palace’s Art Nouveau details. ✨
Many thanks to Cora Fodor for the initiative and for guiding guests through the Art Nouveau concept and the artistic heritage of the Palace of Culture, introducing them to both the Romanian and Hungarian art galleries. This encounter offered a deeper appreciation of the building’s artistic identity and the cultural richness it brings together.
More than a brunch, the gathering was an opportunity to experience the dialogue between culinary creativity, music, design, and cultural heritage in one of Târgu Mureș’s most remarkable architectural settings.
