Autumn doesn’t do basic here, and neither do we. We made three new pastries to honor the season, available exclusively in Cluj.

Fall Cake – A buttery, unapologetic Breton shortbread base paired with a sharp pear and cardamom reduction, finished with a velvety white chocolate ganache infused with milky oolong tea.

Pecan & Shiitake Cookie – The cookie that refuses to play by the rules. Salted caramel, crunchy pecans, and caramelized chocolate backed by an unexpected umami hit from fermented miso paste and shiitake mushroom powder. Savory meets sweet, done right.

Pumpkin Bread – Pure autumn comfort, elevated. Rich pumpkin puree, dark chocolate chunks, tart cranberries, and toasted pecans, spiked with cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

Meet the newest obsession at Meron Central: our Chef’s Special, Bao Bao Shrimp! We’ve packed fluffy bao buns with creamy scrambled eggs, succulent shrimp, crisp cucumbers, and a bright splash of mango-mint aioli, finished off with fresh chives.

It’s sweet, savory, crunchy, and fluffy all at the exact same time; basically, a flavour plot twist you didn’t see coming.
