MONK Teahouse The tea house is donation based. We have a variety of herbal teas from Transylvania, black and green from Sri Lanka and ceremonial grade matcha tea from Japan.

Dear Visitor! This teahouse is dedicated to the first tibetologist from Europe, "Körösi Csoma Sándor". As most of us know, he was born in Transylvania, so we arranged the interior design in a christian-tibetian way. We are convinced, that Oradea needs such an experience – like this kind of tearoom – where visitors, travelers or "tealovers" can relax and enjoy not just an ordinary tea. We are open

on Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm-9pm, from 7pm there is zen meditation in the zendo next to the teahouse, so from 7pm-9pm it is quiet time in the teahouse also. At the moment we can make a variety of herbal teas from Transylvania, black and green from Sri Lanka and ceremonial grade matcha tea from Japan. We are delighted to welcoming you!!
