I miss nothing!
Maybe a little love
and a little time...
to live it!
Or maybe not...
I miss nothing!
Maybe only love
of those I love!
Or the strength to understand...
their love!
But... no!
I miss nothing!
Maybe sometimes a quiet cup of coffee
in the early dawn!
Or an afternoon tea
in the company of a dear friend,
with whom to reminisce...
But otherwise...
Me?
I miss nothing!
What could I miss?!
I have wrinkles... and gray hair...
And a few extra pounds
To prove that... I'm fine!
But tell me honestly...
if I told you nothing...
When you look at me,
do I seem to be missing something?!
But if I was missing something...
You who wonder what I'm missing...
Could you fill in the gaps
in my soul?!
No!
Then what's the point
to tell you what I'm missing?!
There are my voids, understood by no one,
but they're holes that I
filled...with hope!
