This happened last night! Toni Lovestein was back in his element, bringing french bistro classics to the table, while .la.ala.la called the shots on the menu. Together, they brought back a little piece of their bistro days. It felt a little nostalgic.

There were gougères warm from the oven, filled with crème de brie and swimming in Lyonnaise sauce. Beef tartare with Tabasco and chips, pork rillettes with baguette and cornichons, steak au poivre vert with golden fries, and profiteroles drowning in chocolate sauce.

Thanks to everyone who pulled up a chair. We should do this more often!

They met years ago and worked together in the smallest bistro in Bucharest. He was on pots and pans, she was on communication, and each had opinions about what the other was doing.

On October 28 they meet again, on either side of the counter. Toni cooks, Ala brings the suggestions.
