The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar informs the general public that it is celebrating its annual Filipino Food Month Festival this April.
This event is held in accordance with Philippine Presidential Proclamation No. 469, which declares the month of April of every year as "Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino" or Filipino Food Month.
As part of this vibrant celebration, the Embassy proudly launches a special two-week campaign, “Connected by Taste: A Journey of Filipino Flavors in Qatar.” Running from 26 April to 10 May 2026, this initiative aims to highlight the strong and meaningful connection between Filipino cuisine and the citizens and residents of Qatar.
As a gesture of solidarity with the government and people of Qatar, particularly in light of the current regional situation, the Embassy has partnered with select restaurants and hotels to champion local businesses, support restaurateurs, as well as encourage Qatar residents to CONNECT through the universal language of food.
