One of Portugal’s most ambitious new fine-dining experiences is nowhere near Lisbon, Porto or the Algarve. In the tiny Dão village of Vilar Seco, Belgian chef Gilbert Van Lee has created Restaurant Atmosphere “by Chez Gilbert” —an intimate, four-table restaurant where he personally welcomes guests and guides them through a seasonal tasting experience.
