is a family story like no other: Kay, an American mother from Napa Valley, and Vincent, a Burgundian father who fell in love with the Douro — building a boutique Port house at the heart of the valley. 14 hectares of certified organic vines, graded A, surrounded by biodynamic neighbours.
We were welcomed by Kay and Odile like old friends. Odile is the new generation — both at the quinta and through her own project . Wines of rare finesse, freshness and complexity. Talented and humble — what a combination.
We drove back happy, and a little jealous of their view. Their wines are at the shelves — not many bottles, come find them.
