Baja TT Reguengos Monsaraz 2026
Baja TT Sharish, Prologue (FIA, SSV)
Only Portuguese drivers are competing in the production SSV category – from the foreign participants, there were only two navigators who started with local drivers.
Luís Cidade (semi-factory team South Racing Can-Am) won the prologue with a confident 7.2-second lead over his nearest rival in his category. Cidade also provided the biggest surprise - he won the prologue in the overall classification and was 0.6 seconds faster than João Ferreira (Toyota Hilux IMT Evo)!
Gonçalo Guerreiro (who competed in a Ta**us EVO Max at the Baja España Aragón a week ago and is now driving a Polaris RZR Pro R) encountered problems in the prologue and lost nearly 30 minutes.
