Restaurant Le Marquis Le Marquis is a restaurant in the area of Sta. Barbara de Nexe which prepares their fresh, high-quality dishes in the traditional way.

Le Marquis, the most famous restaurant in the area of Sta. Barbara de Nexe, has been magnificently converted and restored from the stables of a 17th century Quinta Estate and strikes a lasting impression on any visitor. The commitment to quality and the reception given by charming Helma is the perfect start to a lovely afternoon or evening spent either in the romantic garden enjoying the beautiful

surroundings, or in the splendid environment of the restaurant, which is heated during the winter by two open fires. In the kitchen fresh, high-quality ingredients are prepared in the traditional way with Vincent consistently producing exemplary dishes, attractively presented and offering a variety of flavours. The dinner menu is changed regularly, usually every eight to ten weeks. Lunch is an extensive set menu and Sundays is a traditional Sunday roast. Le Marquis also offers a superb wine list.
