Even beaches within walking distance!! As you can see, our neighborhood offers all kinds of stimulation, so you can spend a long time in Old San Juan without crossing the bridge again. Our apartments, AquaLoft and El Palomar, are on the top floor of a family-run 19th Century building located within steps to many historic sites, art, cultural events, fine restaurants and nightlife. Revel in that Caribbean feeling of being inside and outside at the same time. AquaLoft is a spacious and breezy one-bedroom apartment with high ceilings and 11-foot doors that open to a terrace with a view of the San Juan Bay. El Palomar, on the other hand, is like a bird's nest in the rear of the building. Its balcony wraps around the interior patio shaft. Sink into the relaxing round Papasan chairs and tell us how you plan to save the world before you leave. We strive for a casual and relaxed ambience by recycling, reusing, salvaging, or creating. AquaLoft is also the exhibition space for artistic work by us and our friends, such as photographs and wall sculptures. We share independently-published books and travel magazines with local insights by well-known writers and photographers. AquaLoft is an ongoing creative project in which our guests participate as well. We encourage you to get inspired here! We like independent spirits who will create their own experience of Old San Juan, but also recommend some other local business and events we think you may want to look into while you are here. Make yourself at home!
