Before the guest experiences the evening, much of it has already been quietly prepared.
In the kitchen and service areas, hands are at work, vessels are readied, bread begins its way outward, and the table is completed plate by plate.
What appears simple and effortless to the guest has already passed through many small acts of care.

As night settles over the Walled City, a fine mist moves across the terrace, cooling the air while the illuminated minaret remains in view.

By evening, the house begins to change.

The last light lingers across the glass lounge and terraces. Lamps and candles take over, tables wait in the changing light, and people begin to arrive and settle in. Lahore remains close—sometimes fully visible beyond the windows, sometimes held in the dark by a single illuminated minaret.
An evening at Andaaz is made slowly, as room, light, table, city and the people beside you come together.

On the ground floor, a piano sits beside the window; carved wood, textiles and pieces gathered over time give the room its own character, while Lahore remains present beyond the glass.

Lahore is not held within a single view. It surrounds you.

Badshahi Masjid rises across the terrace; the old brick lanes, rooftops, courtyards and movement of Fort Road continue below.
Andaaz belongs to this position—high above the street, yet still within the life of the Walled City.

As you move from one level of the house to another, the city appears differently each time.

From the street, Andaaz reveals only a little. Inside, it opens slowly—a stair turning upward, objects gathered over time, rooms and terraces holding different views of Lahore.
The house is not meant to be taken in all at once. It is discovered as an evening is: one level, one pause, one view at a time.
