ANGKOL’S PUNGKO PUNGKO is the latest brand concept of KUMPARES GROUP OF COMPANIES. Basically, Angkol’s Pungko Pungko sells a random assortment of fried food. The term “Angkol’s Pungko Pungko” is a Cebuano word which “Angkols” means Uncle and “Pungko” means squat or crouch. Dining in these places is quite unique as well where you will be given plastic plates and plastic bag, the latter is used like a glove as you eat them with bear hands. From there you will choose your deep-fried dish, binalot rice (a rice wrapped in palm leaves) and will be served with sawsawan & unlimited salad and gravy.

Pungko Pungko as mentioned is very popular in Cebu. Today we bring the famous Pungko Pungko in the South of Metro Manila and will be available soon in all areas of Luzon.
