A Day in My Life — Cake Artist Edition 🎨✨

People often ask me if I'm a baker.

The truth is,

Some days, I answer inquiries.
Some days, I bake layers of cake.
On days like this, I feel more like an artist.

Today's canvas? An edible Birkin bag. 👜

One of the things I love most about custom cakes is that they sit somewhere between baking and art. Every project starts with ingredients, but it ends with creativity, patience, and a vision slowly coming to life.

Not every cake needs to look like a cake—and that's what makes this craft so exciting.

The Butterfly effect..in cakes? Let's call it ✨THE BUTTERCREAM EFFECT✨

There was familiarity in this cake--not because of the design, nor because of the theme.

But because a year ago, the person placing this order was the one receiving the cake.

She was the celebrant then—the one making a wish before blowing the candles, posing for photos, and hearing everyone sing happy birthday.

This time, she was on the other side. The one choosing the design, thinking about the details, and wondering what flavor would make someone smile.😊

And it made me realize something. The people who make us feel loved often teach us how to love others in the same way.

Maybe that's the Buttercream Effect.

A cake isn't just a cake. Sometimes it's a memory passed from one person to another.
