We’d rather tell you now than have you leave disappointed (but hopefully not).
1. Our little café doesn’t have a comfort room.
[Just cats hanging out with you]
It’s one of the things we wish we could offer, but for now, our little space simply wasn’t built with one. We know it isn’t ideal, and we completely understand if that’s a dealbreaker for some.
2. The house bakes aren’t always available.
Some days they are, some days they aren’t. We make room for them whenever we can, but they’re never a promise — only a little surprise when the timing is kind.
3. Our space is small but very much lived in.
There are children laughing in corners, cats wandering wherever they please, conversations lingering longer than expected, and familiar faces who somehow became friends. It isn’t always quiet, and it isn’t always easy to find a table for a big group.
This little café has slowly become part of some people’s everyday lives, and sometimes it shows.
4. There are days when we are closed.
Not because we’re taking a break (although, sometimes we do), but because we’re out delivering coffee, picking up supplies, roasting beans, or doing the hundred little things that keep this place alive.
There isn’t a big team behind the bar, just us, Jason and Hash, working on the roastery, manning the machine, doing deliveries, and making sure your cup is how it should be.
Despite all that, we still believe
WE MAKE A D*MN GOOD CUP.
Every drink is made by the same hands that roasted the coffee, unpacked the supplies, swept the floors, fed the cats, and unlocked the doors every morning.
Umberseed Coffee has never tried to be the biggest café in town.
Just an honest one.
And if that sounds like your kind of place,
we’ll be here — doing our best, one slow cup at a time.
