Tatay is a tricycle driver around Del Fierro. When we offered some food, he quietly asked if he could also have something for his merienda.

Tatay: Thank you, ah. Gusto niyo? Sa inyo na itong tinapay ko.
(heโ€™s carrying a bag of bread)

In that simple moment, I was deeply touched. We gave a small act and expected nothing in return. Yet what came back was far greater: kindness, generosity, sincere smiles, and heartfelt thank yous.

It was humbling. Here was someone who had a little, yet was still willing to share what he had. It reminded me that generosity and kindness isnโ€™t measured by how much we give, but by the willingness and the intention to give even when it costs us something.

Sometimes, the people who have the least are the ones who teach us the most about compassion. And in that brief exchange, Tatay gave us more than we could ever shared with himโ€” a quiet reminder that humanity, at its core, is deeply kind. Thank you po, Tay!๐Ÿฅน

This is how we chose to celebrate Easter Sundayโ€”with you ๐Ÿค

Because of your kindness, a portion of your tips helped us prepare 80+ food packs and juices, shared with children, local vendors, and hardworking tricycle & jeepney drivers, and laborers. Remaining portion will be given to a childrenโ€™s shelter.๐Ÿฅน

Our staffs also shared in the spirit of giving by supporting Nanayโ€”buying her homemade bibingka and passing it on to our customers, turning simple moments into something meaningful.

Today, as we celebrate the risen Christ, we are reminded that love is best expressed through giving. None of this would be possible without you.
