Just a small table by the roadside near the airport highway, no canopy, no chairs, no lights, and very limited stocks. On our first day, we sold only two iced Americanos. Even after that, we never managed to sell more than ten cups a day for a long time. There were days when people simply passed by, as if we weren’t even there.
We had no support system. It was just us holding everything together, learning as we went, doing everything from preparation to service to simply waiting for someone to stop.
And yet, we stayed.
Because when you are starting from the ground up, you learn quickly that progress does not always look like success. Some days it looks like waiting. Some days it looks like quiet persistence. And some days it looks like choosing to show up again even when yesterday gave you very little reason to.
We did not have comfort or certainty. What we had was time, patience, and a belief that even the smallest beginnings are still worth continuing.
Now, things are slowly changing.
Day by day, we are growing. More people are starting to find us. More importantly, people are choosing us even with so many cafés around. They do not just come for coffee, they come because something about this place feels real. Built from effort. Built from consistency. Built from the days when two cups felt like everything and even ten cups felt like a small victory.
And maybe that is the lesson we carry with us.
You do not need big numbers to prove you are on the right path. You do not need constant validation to keep going. You just need the courage to stay when growth is slow, and the strength to continue when progress is quiet.
Because sometimes, the strongest stories do not begin with success.
