Dear Valued Customers, Vendors and Employees,

We regret to inform you that the last day of business operations of Neul Bolm Korean Restaurant was yesterday, 30th of October 2022. The management decided to close down the restaurant as the company suffered losses due to the economic crisis we are dealing with during pandemic. Since today, we will no longer be offering our products and services. Neul Bolm remains grateful that despite the challenges, all obligations towards vendors and employees have been resolved.

We would like to thank all our customers, vendors and employees of our company that we have done business with you over the last 20 years. Neul Bolm could not have been successful as it was without your continued support and loyalty throughout our ups and downs. We are happy for the opportunity to serve you as well.

Korean feast is not complete without a colorful plate of japchae (or chapch’ae), a stir-fry of glass noodles and vegetables. Tracing the long history of this beloved dish provides a fascinating study of Korean culinary and cultural history.

The original version of japchae contained neither meat nor noodles. Dating back to the seventeenth-century Joseon (or Choson) dynasty, japchae was invented by one of King Gwangaegun’s subjects, who concocted the dish for a royal celebration. As the story goes, the king enjoyed the new dish so much that he promoted the humble servant to a position equivalent to Secretary of the Treasury!

Chobok is the beginning of the hottest days wherein Korean eat Samgyetang. A ginseng chicken soup dosh with a whole chicken boiled in broth and filled with garlic, rice, jujube and ginseng.

Which is being sung for almost 600 years. The song embodies the unique energy of the korean people.

There are about 3,600 variations of 60 different versions of the song, all of which include a refrain similar to, "Arirang, arirang, arariyo (아리랑, 아리랑, 아라리요)"

It is believed that "Arirang" originated in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province. "Arirang" as a term today is ambiguous in meaning, but some linguists have hypothesized that "ari" (아리) might have meant "beautiful" in ancient Korean and that "rang" (랑) might have been a way of referring to a "groom."
