It's been a long time coming and we've tried to hold on but we sadly have to go and close our doors.

The cafe has always felt like home - having the comfortable company of someone quietly working near you without talking to you, the myriad of strangers coming over who eventually became regulars and felt like family, having open discussions about books and the endless rounds of Monopoly Deal. It was a place where humans truly connected with each other (because let's admit it, sometimes, most times, the WiFi failed 😜) Sadly, the current situations do not present an ideal for these connections to continue as it was before so it is with sincerest humility that I thank you for allowing us ( hi Prey, you're the best!) to serve and make you coffee.
No goodbyes just, maybe, see you later.

In light of the recent Covid-19 situation in the city, we have decided to take a hiatus from the physical store for everyone' safety starting today. Beyond good coffee, the café has been a haven for meaningful connections and interactions which is a bit challenging with the present situation. We'd like to express our deepest gratitude for the moments you chose to spend time with us in the past few months. In the mean time, let's keep safe and stay at home. See you in a better normal.

Served the last cup of Cappuccino and warm brownie for the time being. It is sad that life as we knew it has been turned upside down. But we are also given the opportunity to reset, to view life in a different perspective albeit in a forceful abrupt manner and to hope fiercely that there will be a tomorrow to look forward to. When we come out on the other side, may we dream more vividly, live a little more authentically and love courageously.
