There are cups of coffee you remember because they taste incredible.

Then there are cups you remember because of the people you shared them with.

Last week, our team, House of Fox; had the privilege of representing Kitsune Kissaten at the Philippine Coffee Brewer's League 2026 Nueva Vizcaya Team Battle.
We came to compete, but more importantly, we came to learn.

Every conversation, every brew, every adjustment, every cup shared with fellow brewers reminded us that coffee is more than technique. It's a craft built on curiosity, generosity, and community.

We met familiar faces, made new friends, exchanged ideas, discovered new brewing approaches, and were inspired by everyone's passion for the same simple goal: brewing a better cup.

One of the most rewarding parts of brewing for others wasn't standing behind the brewer; it was watching people enjoy the coffee we prepared, sharing thoughts, asking questions, and appreciating every cup together.
For us, that's what specialty coffee has always been about.

To the organizers, sponsors, judges, volunteers, fellow competitors, and everyone who made PCBL 2026 possible—thank you for creating a space where people can continue learning and growing together.
We return home with notebooks full of ideas, hearts full of gratitude, and an even deeper love for coffee.

Every journey leaves a new story in the cup.
