We are pleased to say that we are focusing heavily on our pop-up and mobile coffee station. Thank God, our grinder that conked out during our event had been easily fixed.

With this, we had to say goodbye (for now) to our Ibabang Talim Night Market because our schedule (biologically and professionally, catch our flow?) made it really challenging to go on. But who knows where we'll pop up.

This was how Eager Beans Cafe looked like when we first launched on February 9, 2024. Polished. Interior-designed. Complete. Comfortable. Friendly. A long list of coffee, drinks and eats. We held on til October 2025, but we couldn't make the cut. So we closed the shop and ventured into mobile coffee station-weddings, baptisms, school fairs, art exhibit, teachers' appreciation day. And to keep our memory alive, party trays and packed meals.

Now we are at Ibabang Talim Food Hub. 32 kilometers back and forth. If you knew us from before, we would totally be unrecognizable. One table for one stove. 3 pans. A crate for our packaging, oil for frying, sauces. 2 tongs. One table for customers. 6 chairs. 2 coolers for water and the small one for inventory. We used to have a chest freezer and a fridge and we still couldn't fit everything. Just 3 products on the menu-pork toast, turon et chocolat, and a new one stuffed cheesy banana. All our stuff can easily fit in the trunk of a car. And there's still space. Not even a single coffee. Not even our Shrimp Pasta nor our Roast Chicken. Because there is a 2-per-type limit. We came in late sooo. We do ingress/egress every single day for the last 4 days. We have a tent, only 2k from Shopee. We fear the strong winds might blow it anytime. So we pray, harder. We have no electric meter. We have a long extension so we can plug somewhere else. Just 2 super thin and long LED lights worth 800 pesos. We are far from fancy. We now call ourselves Mandarayo (pop up people for lack of a better explanation). Our menu is A3 chagpt generated. Far from the actual look. So we work hard for every sale we get. Because who knew pork toast, turon et chocolat, stuffed cheesy banana before us. We do taste test. Even running after potential customers as far as 15 feet from where we are. We get ignored. We get silent duh's. But we push ourselves. We stumble upon those who welcome the taste test, enjoy the new flavors. We find those who succumb, albeit very small compared to those who get coffee, buy sisig, head to the stall selling tusok tusok. But we still do.

The journey is long. But we are saddling up.
