‼️Posting this for AWARENESS! Unfortunately, our Santiago branch encountered a FAKE/COUNTERFEIT 1K bill. There were customers who paid counterfeit paper bill to our staff. By texture it seems new but apparently its FAKE. When it's time for me to collect the sales, I already felt something odd in its security thread and prints upon holding the bill. I quite know its how tos coz we were taught abt it back in college (course related).

So not all that looks NEW (dhl walang kusot or folds) are genuine bills. Ugaliing usisain ang bawat bills (the threads, texture, color & prints) coz marami talagang mapagsamantala everywhere.

Surely, we won’t take this lightly, our CCTV are now being retrieved and reviewed. I will post the culprit once identified.

It’s also important we inform proper authorities and local banks about these cases for proper action and investigation.
