Matt 19,16-22.

"If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

1. True spiritual maturity begins by observing the moral law, but it requires moving beyond mere rule-following toward a radical surrender of our hearts to God.

2. Our earthly attachments, whether they are material possessions or comfort, often act as barriers that prevent us from fully embracing the call to follow Christ.

3. When we feel a sense of 'lack' in our spiritual lives, God is often inviting us to detach from worldly securities so that we may find our true treasure in His presence.
