Our Story
Life in the city, esp an apartment life can be so sedentary so I created this blog which will remind us that traditional home-cooked meals, esp the ones we grew up having in our table can still be possibly made, amidst these lifestyles dominated by food take-outs, high sodium seasonings, and processed food, just like in the old days when we have a more holistic approach, esp our elderlies in preparing our food. There is an array of fresh produce and meat in public markets which in return will help us support small merchants, I'm an advocate of them. I do not have an excellent cooking skill but It doesn't really take a long-standing skill to create good and hearty food. All you need to have is determination, will, perseverance, and knowledge. In the best that I can, I'd like to share with you all the dishes I have learned to make in a series of food documentaries, through the years, most were dishes from the old times that will trigger your food nostalgia, It's a priceless feeling. My biggest cooking inspiration is my mother, I mean probably all of us have the same answer.
