Our Story
Coffee & Tea Snackbar Inc. first became a food concessionaire at East Creative Asian Cafe inside Rustan's Makati in 2008 under a different company name (Caffe Molinari Philippines) handling Dessert & Beverage Menu. Under the food consultancy of Chef Him Uy de Baron, we were able to bring in Filipino desserts such as Suman sa lihiya and Suman sa Ube, and create a gourmet dessert Sumaki by rolling slices of sweet ripe mangoes inside the Suman, serving it warm topped with Latik and a scoop of ice cream. We also offer seasonal pastries and cakes, as well as coffee concoctions, tea, fresh fruit juices and shakes. We featured locally made Geno’s Ice Cream from Bataan in three best-selling flavours: Gabe Queso, Ube Keso and Mais Queso.
With the addition of East Cafe at Rustan's Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City, and East Cafe at Rustan's Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City, we had a total of three branches for the period 2016-2018.
Coffee and Tea Snackbar Inc.’s contract with Rustan’s Commercial Corporation ended in December 2018. We decided to start anew through online selling in January 2019 and Rustan’s East Café became one of our clients for the ice cream.
