#2019-17 Metro Manila Are you Ready for the "Big One 7.2" ?

1) What can WE LEARN from the Yolanda Storm Surge Catastrophic Event that killed more than 3,500 in Tacloban last November 8, 2013?
2) The images we viewed in mass media was ULTIMATE CHAOS. Dead bodies littered the streets. Looting. No Electrical Power. Government Functioning minimally. People scrambling for Food and Water for Survival. War Zone???
3) Because of the heavily damaged infrastructure (Including the damaged Tacloban Airport) and the shocked Local Government, it took several days before Rescue and Relief Efforts trickled in.
4) HOW DO YOU PLAN TO SURVIVE IN A CHAOTIC CATASTROPHIC SITUATION?
5) Difficult Dilemma. BUT, if you PLAN ahead, VISUALIZE the scenarios, OPERATIONALIZE an Earthquake "FAMILY PLAN", you have a greater probability of surviving the .2" Plus a Lot of Prayers. AMEN.

This life will go by fast. Don't fight with people, don't criticize your body so much, don't complain so much. Don't lose sleep over your bills.

Look for the person that makes you happy. If you make a mistake, let it go and keep seeking your happiness.

Never stop being a good parent. Don't worry so much about buying luxuries and comforts for your home, and don't kill yourself trying to leave an inheritance for your family. Those benefits should be earned by each person, so don't dedicate yourself to accumulating money.

Enjoy, travel, enjoy your journeys, see new places, give yourself the pleasures you deserve. Allow dogs to get closer. Don't put away the fine glassware. Utilize the new dinnerware; don't save your favorite perfume, use it to go out with yourself; wear out your favorite sport shoes; repeat your favorite clothes. So what? That's not bad. Why not now?

Why not pray now instead of waiting until before you sleep? Why not call now? Why not forgive now?

We wait so long for Christmas; for Friday; another year; for when I have money; for love to come; when everything is perfect...look...everything perfect doesn't exist.

Human beings can't accomplish this because it simply was not intended to be completed here. Here is an opportunity to learn. So take this challenge that is life and do it now...love more, forgive more, embrace more, love more intensely and leave the rest in God's hands. Amen.

Boats for Busuanga Outreach : Last Friday in Palawan, after we completed the donation of 50 School/Art Supplies to 50 PreSchool kids of the Concepcion Day Care Center, we saw 2 of the 60 fiberglass "''Bantay Dugong" bancas donated to the Busuanga Community as a result of Typhoon Yolanda which killed 3 people in Palawan 3 years ago. We donated another 8 bancas to Tacloban giving a total of 68 Motorized 21Footer Bancas to 68 Recipient Families.

Bellevue Cafe is initiating this Outreach Activity this July 2017 for 50 students ages 4-6 years for a Busuanga, Palawan Elementary School. Outreach 2017 Update : We have just completed our Outreach Initiative to help 100 SPED Students of Old Balara Elementary School last June 6. Thank you BCBP Ortigas Dick Sucgang, Donors Jaime del Rosario and Nicky Villasenor for collaborating with me in this endeavor.
For July, we are targeting helping about 50-60 Students ages 4-6 at a Busuanga Palawan Community where my daughter Danica Lopez resides. Together with my Betan UP COE Outreach BFFs Rollo Mauricio and Felino S M Angeles Jr., we will proceed to Binondo later this week to purchase School and Art Supplies for this targetted Community in Palawan. We are accepting donations of basic school supplies, art supplies (crayolas, watercolor kits, coloring and art books etc) and relevant used books for children ages 4-6. Cash will be accepted also. Let us continue to help our many disadvantaged countrymen in our own little ways. Make a difference.

The BCBP Ortigas Chapter Outreach Group headed by Dick Sucgang visited the SPED Students of Old Balara Elementary School to distribute 100 Hygiene Kits, art supplies, first aid kits, manipulative toys, printers and 2 32inch TV sets for use in the 4 SPED Classrooms. Thank you Friends of Bellevue Cafe for your CHRISTmas Donations. So far PAMASKUHAN 2016 has donated CHRISTmas gift packs to the 31 Orphans of the House of Refuge Project8, 35 "Special Kids and Adults" of the Guanella Center QC and security guards and street sweepers near the Pentecost and DeLas Strada Churches. Another 100 gifts packs are being prepared for the Shelter for Girls near katipunan and other disadvantaged kids and families. Merry CHRISTmas.

Last July 4, Cafe Bellevue Distibuted 32 Elementary School Supplies "Kits" to schoolkids of Contractual employees of Sofia Bellevue Condo Corporation. Each of the security staff, groundskeepers and maintenance received their kits as part of Cafe Bellevues "Share Your Blessings @ Eskwelahan 2016".
Donations in kind (educational and art supplies) and used books and school bags are still being accepted at the dropboxes fronting the coffee shop. Thank you for your usual support.
