HIGHEST QPI IN ATENEO! 😱🦅
Ryan Yu graduated as the Valedictorian of the Ateneo Loyola Schools Class of 2015, earning the distinction of summa cm laude with one of the most remarkable academic records in the university.
A BS Management Engineering graduate with a minor in Decision Science, Yu finished with a 3.99 cumulative Quality Point Index, recognized as the highest correctly recorded QPI in Ateneo Loyola Schools at the time.
His achievement stood out even more because Management Engineering is known as one of Ateneo’s most rigorous programs, combining business, mathematics, systems thinking, decision science, and problem-solving.
Beyond academics, Yu was also deeply involved in student leadership and service. He served as Vice President of the Sanggunian and later became Acting President, while also participating in the Ateneo Management Engineering Association and the Ateneo Christian Life Community.
His leadership and service earned him major recognitions, including Most Outstanding José Rizal Model Student of the Philippines in 2014 and Most Outstanding Individual in the Loyola Schools Awards for Leadership and Service.
Ryan Yu’s story shows that excellence is not limited to grades alone. His journey reflects how academic brilliance, leadership, discipline, and service can come together at the highest level.
From the classroom to student government and community service, his achievement remains an inspiring reminder of what it means to use education not only for personal success, but also for others. 🪽✨
