Wow

Russel Reyes Tuazon, OFW from Mabalacat, Pampanga, transformed his destiny by winning the AED 15 Million (~PHP 224 Million) grand prize in the Emirates Draw. Entering the draw on a whim with a mere AED 15 ticket, his first-ever attempt turned into a life-changing triumph on his 15th working year in Dubai.

Coming from a family that sometimes struggled to afford three meals a day, Russel left for the UAE in 2008 at just 19 years old. He started his career at the bottom of the Food & Hospitality industry working in housekeeping and kitchens, dedicating every ounce of his energy to providing for his parents and siblings back in the Philippines.

Russel's ticket was no random selection—he crafted his winning combination by using the birthdays of the people he loves most: his mother, his son, and his elder sister.

Russel's life pivoted 360 degrees, but his vision remains steadfastly grounded. He plans to utilize his windfall to build a new home, secure his child’s future, support his parents, and finally open a food and beverage business. He frequently reminds fellow OFWs that getting something extraordinary in life often requires small, deliberate sacrifices.

Russel Tuazon's story proves that no matter how difficult the journey, one should never stop working toward their dreams—because sometimes, unexpected miracles happen!
