YOUR DRIP BAG HAS A PROPER WAY TO BREW.
A coffee drip bag may look simple—but the way you pour your water can change what ends up in your cup.
For HeBrew Coffee Drip Bag, each bag contains 13.5–14 grams of coffee, ground to a fine, sand-like consistency.
That means temperature, pouring technique, and timing matter.
Here’s how to get the most from your bag:
1. Get the temperature right
Use water at around 90–93°C.
If you don't have a thermometer, bring the water to a boil and let it rest for roughly 30–60 seconds.
2. Start with a gentle bloom
Pour about 30–40 ml of water slowly over the grounds, making sure they're evenly wet.
⏱️Wait 30–40 seconds.
This gives the coffee time to release trapped gases and prepares the grounds for a more even extraction.
3. Pour slowly—but don't drown it
Continue with 2–3 gentle pours, using small circular motions.
Don't pour a large amount all at once.
And don't fill the filter to the brim.
Because HeBrew uses a relatively fine grind, controlled pouring helps prevent the water from flowing too quickly or the coffee from becoming over-extracted.
4. Aim for about 180–200 ml of water**
This gives you a balanced cup while allowing the coffee's character to come through.
5. Give it time
A total brew time of approximately 2½–3½ minutes is a good target.
And one more important detail:
Keep the bottom of the drip bag above the brewed coffee.
If the filter sits in the coffee already collected in your cup, drainage can slow down considerably.
Because great coffee isn't just about having good beans.
It's about giving those beans the right conditions to become a great cup.
Pour with patience. Brew with intention. Enjoy the difference.
