After spending the last 7 months looking, we have finally found a new space for the relocation of Secrets. A bigger space in Pasay, with road front visibility, better access for customers, car parking spaces and better performance space and with back of house for performers and staff. Details are still being finalised and we will share this with you all on here as we make progress.
As our current lease is due to expire on June 30, 2026, we have decided not to extend the lease and will therefore close the current Secrets Bar on Saturday 27 June.
The new space will see some changes to our operation including an expanded concept building on all that we have learned from you as our customers.
We will continue featuring live entertainment but expanded to include most nights (live singers, acoustic sets and background singers) and still have karaoke available for guests to join.
For Friday/Saturday nights, we will include live entertainment as well as tribute shows, drag queens and dancers with DJs etc.
The new space will take between 3-4 months to complete the fit out and the new permits. We expect to have a soft opening around October or earlier if possible, with grand opening expected by end of November or early December in time for the festive season.
Given the larger operation, we will be looking for expression of interest for staff and performers in the coming months. So keep an eye out on our page for the announcements and updates.
Finally, we want to express our sincerest gratitude to you all for your support over the past 11 months. From our team, to our artists, and our amazingly beautiful customers, we are humbled that you’ve chosen our little bar to share some of your precious time to relax and have a little fun, and of course for sharing your talent.
We believe we have some of the most amazing talents in the Philippines right here in our community. We have learnt so much about the area, our community, and what is really needed. And we sincerely hope and envision the new space will provide a bigger stage and platform for more of our community to share their talent and enjoy the company of the many beautiful customers we have met in our current bar and will meet in our new place! We are truly excited about the next chapter of Secrets!
So, keep an eye out for the program this weekend and next weekend before we close. We hope to catch up with you all during our remaining nights.
