FROM BAKERY TO COZY CAFÉ: The Delicious Journey of Eighteen Café

Change can be beautiful—and very delicious!

In 2023, Erica Perez opened Eighteen Bakery in downtown Paniqui, serving delicious handmade breads, pastries, and cakes that neighbors loved. But as local tastes changed, Erica wanted to give her customers a place where they could not only eat, but also sit down, relax, and connect.

She took a bold step and transformed her bakery into Eighteen Café!

To make this dream happen, Erica worked closely with DTI. Through Negosyo Center Paniqui and Business Counselor Ranjee Mañalac, she officially registered her new business in March 2024. Erica also learned practical skills in managing money, marketing her menu, and running her café smoothly.

Erica's story shows us that when we embrace change, amazing things can grow. Drop by downtown Paniqui today and enjoy the cozy vibe at Eighteen Café!
