We’re honored to be awarded 2nd Runner-Up at the Coffee Blending Competition organized by the Tagum Coffee Association and DTI Davao del Norte.

Our competition entry, KINAIYA, was inspired by the remarkable character of Talaingod Arabica. Rather than adding flavors to coffee, our goal was to recreate its natural tasting notes in dessert form—its bright tropical acidity, the warm caramel sweetness of coconut sugar, and its deep chocolate finish. Every component was designed to let the coffee remain the hero.

Thank you to the organizers, judges, fellow competitors, and everyone who continues to support Philippine coffee. This recognition inspires us to keep exploring new ways to tell the stories behind our coffees.

Over the past months, we’ve had the privilege of getting to know Julia Chen and the team behind Sweeto.Asia. Their commitment to coffee goes beyond sourcing—it’s rooted in relationships, transparency, and a deep respect for the people behind every harvest.

This release brings together five coffees that stood out to us for different reasons: elegance, sweetness, vibrancy, depth, and character. Each one offers a distinct expression of origin, process, and producer.
