A quick update on our matcha origins 🍃

We currently source our matcha from Shizuoka, Kagoshima, Yame, Kyoto, and Uji, Japan — regions known for their distinct terroir, cultivation methods, and tea-growing heritage.

Differences in climate, soil composition, shading techniques, and cultivar selection all contribute to each matcha’s unique expression — from umami depth and sweetness to aroma and finish.

Through both single cultivar and blended selections, we aim to showcase the diversity and craftsmanship behind every cup of matcha we serve.

Our matcha is directly sourced from Kagoshima, Shizouka, and Kyoto, Japan — these region are known for producing some of the world’s finest tea. Beyond sourcing premium matcha, we also focus on showcasing different styles of matcha experiences through both single cultivar and mixed cultivar selections.

Single cultivar matcha offers a more expressive and distinctive profile, revealing the natural identity of a specific tea plant. Mixed cultivars, on the other hand, are carefully blended to create harmony, richness, and consistency in flavor.

This allows every guest to discover different layers of matcha — from delicate and floral notes to deeper umami and creamy finishes.
