To Our Valued Highlands BBQ House customers,

We are issuing this statement to inform you of a serious incident that occurred at our establishment during the early hours of this morning, August 8th, between 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM, after our closing hours.

An armed individual illegally entered the premises of Highlands BBQ House. The suspect attempted to loot valuables from within the store and was also observed attempting to enter and open cars in the parking lot and surrounding area. Fortunately, no staff members were present during the break-in, and we are relieved to report that no one was harmed.
We have already taken immediate steps in response to this event:

Police Cooperation: We are working in full cooperation with the local police department, who are actively investigating the matter. We have provided them with all available security footage to assist in identifying and apprehending the suspect.

Increased Security: We are immediately reviewing and enhancing our security measures. This includes strengthening our physical security and upgrading our surveillance technology to better protect our property and the surrounding area.

While we are doing everything we can to support the ongoing investigation, we also want to issue a strong cautionary reminder to our community. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and prioritize their safety, especially during late-night hours. Please ensure your vehicles are securely locked and that no valuables are left in plain sight.

We are deeply disturbed by this brazen act and are committed to ensuring our establishment remains a safe place for everyone. We thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to address this situation.
