We had a 6pm reservation for 8pax yakiniku dinner. But thanks to the utmost support of the 9th edition, our 8pax turned into 4 families! Also we would like to congratulate Ms. Ying Dereit on her Graduation. Thank you for celebrating your special day with us. Today's event was indeed a success. Thank you once again!

While visiting my sister in law Maria Victoria Flores's resto in cararayan during my lunch break she casually told me that i should blog the places that me and vangie eat at. I told myself why not. So i decided to do her's first. Be careful of what you wish for vic2, you might just get it. 😊

This morning i received a notification on Facebook about a place that my sister in law vic vic opened in cararayan named maria victoria's secret. ( the name is so vic vic, to those who knows her, the kalog/humorous side of her. ) vangie and I decided to check it out. I knew what i wanted to order before we even got there. I wanted the beef yakiniku. When we arrived there i felt a nostalgic feeling for i once lived there when i was still with her sister. The set up of the place is very simple. We sat in a bamboo seat at the main table. We ordered yakiniku, fried rice and fried chicken. It came with soup and house tea. The yakiniku was great. ( i had yakiniku for the first time back in the early 90's through vic vic ) the fried chicken had a different flavor to it which you don't usually taste from ordinary fried chicken. ( don't know if its japnese ) service was good, food was great. Try the yakiniku if ever you guys decide to drop by. ( infront of cararayan church ) the only problem that i had was after finishing the extra fried rice that i ordered i was sweating from our extreme weather condition. I really liked the way vic vic explained her humble resto.. she said its just like cooking for her kids. Well done vic2. Looking forward for that VIP room to open and maybe a bucket of SM lights. Did i mention they have tapsilogs with imported beef like the ones used in yakiniku for just p49
