𝐀 𝐇𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲’𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐚𝐫!

For the first time, the skies of Naga became home to hot air balloons from 12 countries, marking a milestone moment not only for the festival but for the city’s growing identity as a destination for culture, tourism, music, and shared community experiences.

The opening day showed what the festival was created for: to bring people together, celebrate local and international talent, and offer Nagueños and visitors a new kind of experience — one filled with color, music, food, family bonding, and the unforgettable sight of balloons rising over the city.

The crowd turnout reflected the public’s excitement and support for an event of this scale. From early attendees waiting to witness the balloons, to families enjoying the festival grounds, to music fans gathering for the evening program, Day 1 proved that Naga is ready for bigger, bolder, and more memorable events.

More than a festival, the event created movement for the local economy. Every person who came helped support artists, vendors, concessionaires, event staff, suppliers, workers, and families whose livelihoods are strengthened by gatherings like this.

The successful opening also affirmed the heart of the festival: the hot air balloon experience, music, local artists, community celebration, and Naga pride.

As the festival continues, organizers thank the public for showing up, supporting the event, and helping make history in the city’s skies.

Day 1 was more than an opening. It was a statement: Naga can host moments that inspire, gather, and uplift.

Naga showed up.
Naga made history.
And the festival has only just begun.

| FREE SHUTTLE TRANSPORT GUIDELINES |

Pickup Points & Shuttle Guidelines

1️⃣ Please proceed to your preferred pickup point:
• Robinsons Naga
• SM City Naga
• Villa Caceres
• PAGCOR Building

2️⃣ The first trip from all pickup points to the Metro Naga Sports Complex (Pacol) will begin at 2:00 AM.

3️⃣ The shuttle service operates on a P2P (Point-to-Point) basis, meaning only designated pickup and drop-off points will be used, and the vehicle will not make any stops in between.

(FILIPINO) Ang shuttle service ay naka-P2P (Point-to-Point), ibig sabihin ay sa mga itinalagang pickup at drop-off points lamang ito hihinto at hindi papayagang tumigil sa iba pang lugar sa pagitan.

4️⃣ We encourage everyone to arrive early at the pickup points and allow extra travel time, as heavy traffic is expected.

The City Government of Naga will launch the latest edition of its city tourism brand on May 1, 2026 at the Metro Naga Sports Complex.

The brand launch is being organized by the city government through its Investment and Tourism Promotions Office.

On the same day and at the same venue, the QWK Group of Companies, led by chairperson B**g Rodriguez, will open the first-ever Isarog International Hot Air Balloons & Music Festival 2026, which will run until May 3.

Mayor Leni Robredo expressed jubilation after QWK invited the city government to co-host the festival at no cost, while the event itself will be funded by the company’s corporate sponsors and collaborators.

Attendees of the brand launch are expected to witness the opening activities of the balloon and music festival, offering an added attraction to the occasion.

Both events are seen to help stimulate tourism and create new opportunities not only for Naga City but also for neighboring towns in Metro Naga, and the wider Camarines Sur and Bicol Region. I Jason Neola
