Today is National Matcha Day 🍵 A simple reminder to slow down and enjoy matcha, whether it’s part of your daily ritual or your first cup.

It’s inspired by Hachiju Hachiya - the 88th day of spring in Japan, known as the ideal time to harvest tea leaves when they’re at their freshest and most flavorful.

FUN FACT: In Japan, Matcha Day is also celebrated on February 6. The date (2/6) is a playful nod to “fu-roku,” referring to the traditional tea ceremony hearth used when preparing matcha 💚
