A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God."
— Ecclesiastes 2:24
We are obsessed with the harvest. We measure our worth by our output—the goals met, the visible fruit we have to show for our exhaustion. When the harvest is small, we panic.
"Find your joy not in how much you harvest, but in the simple fact that you are the soil."
God never designed you to be a factory producing life; He designed you to be the garden where His life takes root. Your value isn't tied to your productivity metrics. Even on days when you feel barren or unproductive, your worth remains untouched because your identity is held by the Gardener.
Stop grading your soul by your to-do list. Simply being held in His care is enough.
What expectation of "productivity" can you lay down today to just rest?
