​introducing our newest matcha blend, chisō.
a bold matcha designed for those who love
a deep, savory cup.

​named as a playful nod to its distinct cheese-like umami, the Japanese word for 'feast' (gochisō), and the herbal shiso (perilla) notes that define its finish ₊˚ෆ

​origin ᪥ uji, kyoto and chiran, kagoshima
cultivar ᪥ yabukita, okumidori,
sayamakaori, yutakamidori
harvest ᪥ first and second harvest
taste notes ᪥ sweet potato, nori, savory cheese,
and perilla leaf (shiso)

◍ a little note on the color ◍
you might notice chisō has a warmer hue compared to our previous blends. this is a natural characteristic of the sayamakaori and yabukita cultivars. we’ve traded a bit of neon green for a massive boost in toasty aroma and a punchier tea structure that holds beautifully against our milk mix.

​this blend is a power house, combining the bright, herbal perilla notes of our uji-grown cultivars with the dense, buttery satsuma-imo (sweet potato) soul of the kagoshima yutakamidori. it’s incredibly creamy with a savory, cheese-like depth that we are obsessed with ૮( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝)ა

​chisō will be taking over our slowbar for a while, offering a more layered and "grown-up" umami experience. we can't wait for you to try this one !!

much love to everyone who tried our special oshi drinks at hope.exe last saturday! ♡

it was technically our first official pop-up since our first event was a bar takeover.

it means a lot to me to have accomplished this event as an introvert who's been worrying about it for weeks haha. thank u to my staff who helped do most of the socializing for me 😆

happy to have been a part of a good cause!! 🙂‍↕️🙏

thank you to ASHA who organized the event and to the event staff who made sure everything went on smoothly!

We will be serving event limited drinks inspired by the talented set of performers at HOPE.EXE, a cozy christmas-themed live acoustic session for to be held at The Astbury, Makati on December 27, 2025 ♡

Event ticket sales and part of our slowbar's earnings will be given as proceeds to aid the victims of recent typhoons that hit the Philippines.

i'm fairly new to the irl customer service and hospitality gig so thanks for putting up with my introverted ways 😆

i'm still letting it all sink in, but i can say that after fully immersing myself into the pop-up experience, i genuinely love what i'm doing and what we've built so far for maybi tea time. we have exciting plans in store for next year! ✨️

do look forward to more of my baby hands whisking away, against the world 🤭
