This dog was found wandering around Mag. Arellano today, September 14.

Description:
Small dog, light cream/beige coat, recently groomed. The dog appears well cared for and may have gotten separated from the owner.

We’re hoping to reunite this baby with the family as soon as possible. ❤️

Appreciation post for everyone who has shown love and support for our dear stray, Wh**ey. 🤍

It has been more than a week since Wh**ey’s 2nd surgery, bumalik na po sya sa kanyang doctor for the follow-up check up at tinanggal na po ang tahi nya. Continuous lang po ang medications nya for UTI at urine crystals. We’re also waiting for the biopsy results of the mass found in her bladder, which will be out hopefully in 3 weeks.

Since her very first surgery last May, where her eyes had to be sewn shut because of the puncture wound, we have been keeping Wh**ey in our home so she can recover better. All the sleepless nights have been worth it dahil ramdam po namin ang suporta ng buong Torres.

From the first donation drive hanggang sa sumunod, kahit pa piso-pisong hulog lang sa donation box, malaking tulong na po iyon dahil marami pa pong follow-up check-ups at mga gamot na kailangan. We trust that we can win this battle, one day at a time.

We truly appreciate every single donation, even those from the kids. May mga visitors din si Wh**ey, and it’s heartwarming to see their mini celebration whenever they see her looking so much better. Nakakatuwang makita na ang small help from each and every one of you can truly make a big difference.

Update on Wh**ey 🐾

We initially rushed Wh**ey to the ER because she was suspected to have pyometra. During surgery, the vets discovered something unexpected—she had actually been spayed before, but they found a bladder mass, chronic infected sutures left from a previous surgery, a UTI, and urinary crystals.

Thankfully, she made it through surgery and is now recovering. ❤️

She’s still confined in the hospital while we wait for her pathology results and continue treating her infection.

We’ve already spent a significant amount on diagnostics, surgery, confinement, and medications. If anyone would like to help Wh**ey continue her recovery, any amount means a lot to us.

Our beloved senior stray dog in Mag. Torres needs your help.

After surviving an unfortunate accident, Wh**ey is now facing another life-threatening battle.

A few weeks ago, we noticed blood in her urine and immediately brought her to the vet. She was initially diagnosed with UTI with small struvite crystals and started on medication. Unfortunately, despite treatment, the bleeding returned, so we brought her back for further tests.

After an ultrasound, the vet confirmed that Wh**ey has pyometra, a severe infection of the uterus that can become fatal if left untreated. The only treatment is emergency surgery, as the infected uterus can rupture and lead to sepsis.

Wh**ey has already endured so much in her life, and she’s been fighting so hard. We don’t want to give up on her now.

We are humbly knocking on your kind hearts for any amount you can spare to help cover her veterinary expenses, which have now reached approximately ₱40,000 (including diagnostics, confinement, medications, and surgery).

Every peso, every share, and every prayer means the world to Wh**ey.

Together, let’s give this sweet senior dog the chance to recover and live the life she deserves.
