We have received information from concerned customers that a new restaurant operating under the name & style “Bale Hizon” and situated at our former address at No. 727 Matimyas St. Sampaloc, Manila is misrepresenting itself as a continuation of our 727 Matimyas Restaurant.
Bale Hizon is maliciously appropriating as its own the hard earned goodwill & identity of our own 727 Matimyas Restaurant.
Bale Hizon is not a continuation of 727 Matimyas Restaurant and neither is it financed, managed & operated by us. We have not entered into any management, continuity, subcon or joint venture agreement with Bale Hizon or any of its operators.
Worse, the people behind Bale Hizon, without our consent, permission & authorization have illegally & grossly misappropriated our curated promotional photos & videos of 727 Matimyas for its own promotion on social media in utter violation of our intellectual & property rights. Bale Hizon is riding on our hard-earned established goodwill.
Bale Hizon is not the 727 Matimyas Restaurant that had faithfully provided patrons with savory Ilocano dishes, good affordable service in an ambient al fresco & garden setting.
With these acts of misrepresentation and deception committed to the public, we are compelled to take the necessary legal steps to protect our rights and the interests of our customers & the public in general.
We reiterate that Bale Hizon is not the 727 Matimyas Restaurant it misrepresents to be. The Bale Hizon promos appearing on social media platforms are all selfish & shameless misrepresentations.
