We at Good Food Community condemn in the strongest possible terms the recent military incursion in Negros that led to the gruesome massacre and grave violations of human rights and International Humanitarian Law of 19 individuals, and the forced evacuation of more than 653 residents from their homes in Brgy. Salamanca and Brgy. San Jose, in Toboso, Negros Occidental.

Military operations started on April 19, with the forcible evacuation of 168 households the next day, April 20. This ended in a confrontation that killed many civilians, and the victims, many of whom remain unidentified, include farmer Roel Sobillo, peasant advocates Errol Wendel and Maureen Keil Santuyo, UP Diliman political-science student Alyssa Alano, and journalist RJ Nichole Ledesma.

We demand an end to the military occupation of our countryside!

Tired of funneling your hard-earned money to genocide-complicit platforms that allow AI slop and barely pay real artists?

Want to go analog without buying new mass-produced soon-to-be e-waste gadgets created to be short-lived dopamine-fueled purchases?

Been wanting to transfer your playlist/s to a more ethical (or less evil!) platform but haven't found the time to do it or have stalled doing it because the world is literally burning?

This is the PΓ‘lΓtan Party for you! β™₯

is a swap party focused on going analog and helping each other be accountable to making better music-related consumption choices (yes, even under capitalism!)

π—”π—‘π—”π—Ÿπ—’π—š 𝗦π—ͺ𝗔𝗣 - Have something that you think others will find useful? Bring them to the swap table! From CDs, vinyls, or cassettes to headphones, players, or speakers! Anything music-related (functional + good condition!) is fine.

π—”π—Ÿπ—•π—¨π—  π—šπ—₯𝗒𝗨𝗣 𝗕𝗨𝗬 - Want to rebuild your playlist from the ground up but have a hard time thinking about how much it'd cost? Split an album with a friend or two!
