Two Years of Kahidlaw 🫶🏻
It’s been quite some time since we first opened, and ang dami na rin palang nangyari.
For two years, Kape Kahidlaw has been more than just a café. Safe to say, it has been a home to some—a place where people could feel welcomed, find comfort, rest, and simply be themselves.
Looking back, all we ever wanted was to share our love for coffee. Naaalala ko pa nung nagsisimula pa lang kami—yung saya sa simpleng napupuno namin kahit dalawa o tatlong tables, yung kilig sa bawat taong pumapasok at bawat basong nauubos.
Along the way, we met people carrying their own stories, struggles, dreams, and reasons for being here. Some came for a quiet place, some for good company, some to find comfort, and some simply to take a break.
We’ve also had people become part of our team—some stayed, some moved on. But no matter how long they stayed, each person became part of our story and helped shape Kahidlaw into what it is today.
Every laugh, late night, challenge, conversation, and memory became part of our foundation. And while we may not be able to keep everyone who becomes part of Kahidlaw, we’ll always be grateful that our paths crossed.
And through these two years, we know we haven’t always gotten everything right. We’ve had our lapses and moments where we could have done better. Thank you for being patient with us, for understanding, and most of all, for continuing to choose Kahidlaw and allowing us to be part of your story.
To everyone who has been part of our journey, thank you for making Kahidlaw more than just a place. Thank you for helping make it a home.
