Need a ride for work, school, appointments, airport trips, family gatherings, or other important occasions?

You can now book your JRide ride 2 to 24 hours in advance!

Here's how it works

✅ Book your ride at least 2 hours before your preferred pickup time (up to 24 hours in advance).

✅ Once your booking is submitted, wait for an available driver to review your request.

✅ The driver will then send you a proposed total fare for your trip.

💰 The proposed fare is based on your Local Government Unit's (LGU) approved fare matrix.

🚩 Please note: JRide provides a FREE 1.5-kilometer pickup distance. If the assigned driver needs to travel beyond 1.5 kilometers to reach your pickup location, an additional pickup fee will apply.

⏰ Important Reminder

Once you receive the driver's proposed fare, you have 30 minutes to review and accept it.

If no action is taken within 30 minutes, your advance booking will be automatically cancelled, allowing the driver to accept other bookings.

📱 We encourage everyone to check the JRide app from time to time after making an advance booking so you won't miss the driver's fare proposal.

Once you submit your booking, please wait for the **nearest available JRide driver** to accept your request.

After accepting your booking, the driver will review the route and send you a **proposed fare breakdown**.

The proposed fare follows the **latest fare matrix issued by the Local Government Unit (LGU)**, together with a minimal **platform convenience fee** that helps support system operations, platform maintenance, continuous improvements, and our partner TODA organizations.

You may then:

✅ **Accept** the proposed fare to confirm your booking and wait for your driver to arrive.

❌ **Decline** if you do not agree with the proposed fare. Your booking will automatically be offered to the next available driver, who may provide another fare proposal based on your trip. This process continues until you accept a proposal or cancel the booking.

JRide was designed specifically for **provincial communities**, taking into account local terminal operations, TODA coordination, municipal regulations, and the realities of transport and delivery in our towns. It wasn't simply copied from a typical urban ride-hailing or food delivery platform.

Absolutely.

Since our soft launch, we've continuously released updates based on bugs, issues, rider and passenger feedback, and actual usage.

As with any continuously evolving application, some updates may occasionally have unintended effects on other features. ❓ **Why do I need to verify my account?**

Account verification helps protect both our passengers and our drivers.

It significantly reduces fake bookings and prank orders, especially now that JRide Takeout is available. Every fake booking means wasted fuel, wasted time, and lost opportunities for our drivers.

Verification helps keep the platform safer and more reliable for everyone.

❓ **Are you still looking for more drivers? I booked late at night but no drivers were available.**

Yes. We are continuously recruiting additional riders.

However, we don't simply accept anyone immediately. Every applicant goes through screening and testing, including booking simulations, Takeout order simulations, GPS familiarization, and operational orientation.

As for late-night bookings, driver availability depends on who is online at that time. While we cannot require drivers to stay online 24/7, we are actively recruiting more full-time riders to improve coverage during evenings and early mornings.

Our focus right now is not on having the biggest launch event, but on making sure we launch a service that is stable, reliable, and ready for the communities we serve.

We are currently expanding town by town. Lamut is next in line for its soft launch, while preparations are also underway for Kiangan and other neighboring municipalities.

📢 JRide Takeout Update 🍔🛵

As part of our preparation before officially launching the JRide Takeout feature, we recently conducted meetings and coordination efforts related to vendor operations, delivery flow, and rider participation.

Unfortunately, due to heavy rainfall and weather conditions, some attendees were unable to make it to the meeting, while others arrived after the photo session due to the weather and road conditions. We understand the situation and will continue coordinating with our partners and participants within the week.

We would also like to clarify that JRide continues to move forward through proper coordination and planning prior to launch. Since last year, we have already started coordinating with LGUs, riders, vendors, and other stakeholders. This is not an overnight-made app or project.

JRide was designed with long-term local operations in mind. Our Android app is available through the Google Play Store, where updates and releases undergo platform review and policy compliance requirements. Safety, reliability, and proper handling of user information remain important priorities for us.

As early as January this year, JRide has already secured permits and local clearances in the municipalities of Lagawe, Hingyon, and Banaue as part of our commitment to operate responsibly and fairly alongside our vendor partners and local stakeholders who also comply with their duties and responsibilities as legitimate business owners within the community. We are also currently processing and coordinating additional permits and operational requirements for other municipalities as we continue expanding.

For Apple, Windows, and other users, JRide services may still be accessed through their preferred web browsers directly through our official website while we continue working toward the future release of the iOS version of the app.

Most importantly, JRide is tailored for the real setup of the province — including terminal operations, municipal coordination, local delivery realities, and rural transport behavior — not simply copied from typical urban delivery app models.

We are also happy to share that Lagawe is set to have its first female motorcycle delivery rider under JRide — another milestone as more locals begin participating in modern community-based transport and delivery services.
